We are so excited to introduce our newest queen. Bronwyn (blue) and Miriel (lavendar) have both been released from their queen cages and have actively joined with their colony of bees. I love spring, it's so good to be back in the beeyard!!

This is actually a sewing machine tote that will hold so much stuff/product when we are at events. Added bonus: the bee pattern!!

So excited, our observation hive arrived today. This new tool will allow us to do small group presentations for home school groups, garden clubs and so much more. We love having the kids come to our Apiary (bee yard), however, we don't have protection for everyone. This is so much safer! We finally found some beautiful every day tins for our year round 100% beeswax candle tins. I will be working on these over the next 4 weeks to have them ready for our Bar Harbor event on Memorial Day weekend.

We lost a portion of a rather large pine tree in one of the earlier wind storms last month. So thankful it didn't take out the bees. We've got a lot of cleanup to do. Anyone with a heavy duty chainsaw who wants free wood??
